Encore Learning Presents: Census 2020 Panel Discussion
January 13, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Learn how the 2020 Census will impact your community.
The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States. Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution mandates that this occur every 10 years. The information the census collects helps determine how more than $675 billion of federal funding is distributed to states and communities each year. Join Encore Learning for a panel discussion on the 2020 Census and its impact in Arlington.
Panelists include:
- Bryna Helfer, Assistant County Manager & Director of Communications and Public Engagement at Arlington County Government
- Alvenia Y. McQueen, Lead Partnership Specialist and Congressional Liaison at Philadelphia Regional Census Center
- Wanda Pierce, Co-Chair of Arlington County’s Complete Count Committee
